Working for Motorola

Last week I started my new job as a Software Engineer and as you can imagine it's been an exiting ride. I don't feel as lost as I did when I started interning, after all, I am still here in Fl, a familiar place, with a bunch of FAU friends, My Team is cool, they have a Super Smart dude that's showing me the ropes. I have a lot to learn, I thought writing code will be enough, but I have to know how Radios and Cellulars work, I mean, down to the last detail. Not to mention reading hundreds of documents, specs, data sheets and such. The first thing I did was read the Marketing Requirements Doc and then sign up for a bunch of Motorola classes. My hands are full and I haven't written a line of code yet.

The Family is Good

One more baby coming! crazy good times.

Time

I don't know how I am going to do my Masters, I am so tired when I get home from work, that's because I am now going to the gym. I gained a lot weight over the Christmas break (I wonder why) and I am so out of shape. My first day at the Gym I joined a group doing spinning bikes, they were all older ladies, so i was like, oh easy, I'll warm up with them, 15 minutes later I was huffing and puffing, seconds away from passing out, I couldn't even hide it. I bet the old ladies were laughing at me. But, I'll be OK. Today I was doing better. I feel like back in the Corps, when we used to PT in the morning before working.

So that's life these days, there are a bunch of books that I want to read, but I haven't finished reading the Brothers Karamazov just yet. I'll get there.

that is all.
