Oooh...linux...maybe that can be my new timesuck. I've got a winxp laptop w/ a broken screen that is just sitting there (I've an external monitor). You've inspired me.
This'll have to wait until I'm back in MN though. Too much to do in my remaining month out here.
Funny, that's exactly what I did to my IBM thinkpad, the monitor died last year, and it now sits in my desk as a Linux/winxp dual boot.
If you feel inclined to kill time, strip your life of all joy and social interaction, Linux is a slightly better alternative than say, a heroin addition. Oh well, Good luck!
