A good read for all you "concerned" citizens
How can anyone resist an essay that begins like this:
I am going to challenge you today to revise your thinking, and to reconsider some fundamental assumptions. Assumptions so deeply embedded in our consciousness that we don’t even realize they are there.
Hopefully this will spark some thought, specially to all my friends that lean to the left. Read this. Think! And if you don't like it...well, life is tough.

yeah, I heard about the book, and I agree with Chricton's premises. the problem is that the media has already discredited him, esp. political comics, by saying this "you could get your news from us, quoting actual scientists, or you could trust someone who writes fiction for a living"
too bad he's right about this stuff.
