This is Strange

Here's a little list of books that I have started to read, really liked, and for no reason at all just stopped reading them without reaching the end:

  • Tommyknockers by Stephen King

  • The Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger

  • The Dark Tower Series by Stephen King (Stopped at Vol.V (sorry Caro))

  • Yes, I just put a paranthesis embedded in another parenthesis, got a problem?

  • How to solve it by G. Polya

  • Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenace by Robert M. Pirsig

  • Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand

  • Excuses, Excuses

I hate not finishing what I start, is just that my life is so chaotic that if something distracs me away from a book for more than a couple of days I find it impossible to get back to the book. This list is strange because these are books that I really enjoyed especially the last two, I'd say they were life changing books, and yet, I can't bring myself to start them over again, I'd like to point out that these are the exception rather than the rule, and I plan on finishing them someday.

    I swear!

Tommyknowckers and Catcher in the Rye are from earlier times, I was a teenager for Tommyknockers and I was in the Marines for Catcher in the Rye, all I remember was that the guy's favorite insult was he's a phoney and that I was trying to figure out why the book had that title. One day I will finish it, yesterday I was reading about John Lennon's death, turns out the guy that killed him, Mark Chapman was obsessed with that book.

You didnt finish catcher in the Rye? I really liked it. Well, I was in high school when I read it. for some reason I could relate to the guy, you must have not gotten very far if you didnt get to see why the book is called that. As for the dark tower series...well, you suck, its my favorite series EVER; closely followed by HP and chronicles of narnia, so I guess that doesnt say much about me.
